Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in software verification and validation processes within a sophisticated enterprise Agile and DevOps setting.

• Collaborate as a member of a quality engineering team tasked with testing innovative digital solutions, existing applications, and operational systems.

• Engage in the complete software testing lifecycle.

• Design tests and create test cases.

• Carry out tests, while identifying and monitoring defects.

• Conduct regression and integration testing.

• Verify software releases.

• Work alongside technical and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent QA/software testing experience for an Intermediate-level position.

• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Proven experience working within an Agile and/or DevOps framework.

• Familiarity with testing applications in a challenging enterprise environment.

• Practical experience in creating, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios.

• Experience in defect identification, documentation, tracking, retesting, and closure.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with structured problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with enterprise testing/QA tools, especially: Jira, TestRail, Selenium, BrowserStack, REST Assured, JMeter.
