Senior QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement test plans that align with project requirements and scope, including a device and browser matrix.

• Design and execute agentic workflows for testing by breaking down quality objectives into actionable steps, supplying context and tools, and verifying outcomes.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing as necessary.

• Establish and document test suites for functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of web applications and APIs.

• Examine test results, detect defects, and communicate findings.

• Review product and technical specifications to confirm they are clear and testable.

• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

• Work closely with colleagues and client teams based in the UK and Brazil.

• Engage in peer reviews of team deliverables and participate in agile ceremonies.

• Showcase work to client stakeholders at the conclusion of each sprint.

• Stay informed about the latest testing methodologies and tools.

• Provide guidance on and implement best practices for web accessibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in testing CMS-based web applications, including functional, non-functional, and usability testing.

• Previous experience in leading and defining QA strategy and project scoping.

• Experience in drafting test plans based on user story scenarios and non-functional requirements.

• Practical experience using AI tools in actual delivery work, including AI coding assistants, LLM-based test generation, or AI-supported analysis.

• Proficiency in querying and testing RESTful APIs.

• Experience with UI and API test automation tools such as Selenium and Postman.

• In-depth knowledge of BDD and experience in writing scenarios using Gherkin syntax and frameworks like SpecFlow or Cucumber.

• Background in accessibility testing and familiarity with accessibility standards like WCAG.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication of test results.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch software products.

• Practical understanding of cross-platform, cross-browser development, and website testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration processes, including Git, GitFlow, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in project management/agile delivery methodologies as part of a larger team.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience with headless CMSs such as Storyblok and Sanity is advantageous.

• Familiarity with agentic SDLC or specification-driven development practices is beneficial.

• Understanding of agent tooling and integration patterns, including MCP servers, tool calling, and multi-agent orchestration, is a plus.

• Experience in developing evaluation methods for AI-generated artifacts is an asset.

• Familiarity with testing AI-powered products is a bonus.

• Understanding of security and compliance best practices is a plus.

• Experience with web analytics tools is advantageous.

• Proficiency in writing performance and benchmarking scripts is a plus.

• Exposure to semantic HTML and SEO testing is beneficial.
