This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage quality control initiatives related to software analysis.
• Create detailed test plans.
• Conduct exploratory testing.
• Carry out functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product management to prepare the product for launch.
• Perform comprehensive software testing and data analysis.
• Verify software functionality across multiple browsers.
• Report software testing outcomes to stakeholders and recommend areas for enhancement.
• Implement software test cases and automated tests according to customer specifications and requirements.
• Execute root cause analysis on defects and bugs to identify and reduce risks.
• Conduct exploratory and usability testing to identify bugs prior to production.
• Perform extensive testing to ensure all features operate as intended.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of software testing practices.
• Draft standard operating procedures when necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer Tester.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong aptitude for software quality testing and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, C#, Java, NodeJS, and Angular.
• Strong grasp of logical reasoning.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Proficient in writing comprehensive descriptions.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Experience with Amazon AWS is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and both manual and automated testing tools.
• Understanding of unit, integration, functional, and bug-tracking testing.
• Proven success in managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical ability, and proficiency in data analysis.
• Willingness to collaborate in a dynamic Agile environment.
• Relevant testing certifications such as CSTE, ISTQB Agile Tester Certification, or CAST.
