This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Design and execute software testing procedures.
• Manually perform scheduled tests punctually.
• Engage in evaluations for newly created test cases.
• Document issues in issue-tracking systems.
• Provide updates during team standup meetings.
• Conduct manual ad-hoc testing as required.
• Work alongside the Software Test Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality software testing.
• Act as a vital team member, demonstrating ownership, initiative, awareness, follow-through, and effective communication.
• Collaborate with the team to establish a unified roadmap.
• Take part in regular project updates, planning, partnerships, and strategic discussions.
• Attend professional meetings as necessary.
• Complete the introductory IT Software Department training program and relevant IT Orientation.
• Experience in software engineering is essential.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in software testing is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of QA processes and various testing levels, types, and methods, including unit, functional, negative, integration, performance, reliability, stress, user scenario, and visual testing.
• Familiarity with Black, Grey, and White box testing methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective organizational capabilities.
• Capacity to make prompt decisions.
• Ability to devise multiple solutions to challenges.
• Quick grasp of technical concepts.
• Competent in both team-oriented and independent work environments.
• Effective multitasking skills.
• Possess a servant-hearted attitude.
• Willingness to travel to software development team meetings as required.
• Availability for biannual travel to the Language Technology Conference.
