This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and implement thorough testing strategies that encompass test cases, scenarios, automation, and code coverage.

• Investigate, assess, and develop testing tools, frameworks, and automation solutions.

• Design, create, and manage automated tests for web applications, APIs, and web services utilizing Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Conduct API testing using Postman and verify application functionality across HTTP, HTML, DOM, XML, and JavaScript technologies.

• Develop object-oriented testing software and reusable automation components.

• Produce design artifacts, technical documentation, and diagrams for testing architecture, frameworks, and automation solutions.

• Establish and manage CI/CD test automation pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Work in collaboration with Developers, DevOps Engineers, and QA teams to enhance testability, scalability, and overall quality.

• Engage in code reviews and advocate for coding standards, maintainability, reusability, and quality.

• Operate independently with minimal managerial oversight, taking ownership of testing initiatives and identifying areas for improvement.

• Cultivate a strong understanding of the product domain and apply this knowledge to risk-based testing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field.

• A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in software development.

• Proven experience in designing and creating automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with the Page Object Model.

• Proficient in developing test scenarios across all levels (system, sub-system, product, and feature).

• Skilled in coding and debugging with at least one modern programming language (TypeScript and JavaScript) using Playwright.

• Strong understanding of API testing using Postman.

• Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS preferred).

• Ability to utilize user stories and provide estimates in an Agile environment.

• Comprehension of Object-Oriented Software Design and Principles.

• Knowledge of Test Design and the Test Life Cycle.

• Experience with CI/CD deployment using Jenkins or any other CI tool.

• Nice to have: Experience with React.

• Nice to have: Experience with Jest and Selenium.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Nice to have: Ability to create and maintain shared libraries, tools, and frameworks to enhance team productivity.

• Nice to have: Understanding of SQL with the ability to develop complex queries.
