Software Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual and exploratory testing to identify issues that automation may overlook, particularly in new features and edge scenarios.

• Create and implement functional, regression, and API test strategies for web and application projects.

• Develop and sustain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

• Write automation code in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman alongside code-based methodologies.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and work collaboratively with developers on Git workflows.

• Clearly document test cases, defects, and QA processes for team reference.

• Evaluate AI-driven features and AI-integrated systems, assessing behavior beyond traditional functional testing.

• Partner with distributed, global engineering teams to identify and address issues early in the development lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional QA experience, demonstrating substantial hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing.

• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for developing and maintaining automation scripts.

• Practical experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

• Capability to design and execute functional, regression, and API tests using both tools (e.g., Postman) and code-based methods.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and best practices in the software development lifecycle.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Interest in AI technologies and a readiness to test AI-driven applications (model-integrated systems, AI-enabled features, automation pipelines).

• Strong English communication skills and comfort in collaborating with distributed global teams.
