This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Treat the North Central region as your own enterprise — gaining insights into revenue sources, identifying risks, and recognizing opportunities for future growth.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Voice of Customer (VOC) sentiments throughout the region.
• Convert VOC and field intelligence into organized feedback mechanisms with HP’s Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams.
• Develop and oversee a proactive pipeline that indicates sustainable growth for the region.
• Take ownership of regional forecasting with the precision and diligence expected of a business owner.
• Serve as the dedicated software overlay specialist in alignment with HP PC and device Account Executives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with HP’s PC sales team, District Sales Managers, and channel partners.
• Act as the field expert for HP’s Workforce Experience Platform (WXP).
• Create tailored business value proposals and total cost of ownership/return on investment assessments.
• Manage a regional software pipeline in North Central, ensuring accurate forecasts in Salesforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8 years of B2B technology sales experience, preferably in SaaS, DEX, endpoint security, or enterprise software.
• Previous experience in an overlay, specialist, or solutions sales role within a matrixed sales environment is highly preferred.
• Proven success in building internal connections with peer sellers and being recognized as a go-to resource in deals.
• Demonstrated history of achieving and surpassing sales quotas in a solutions or specialty sales role.
• HP Wolf Security Certification (or a commitment to obtain it within 90 days).
• CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent endpoint security certification.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
• ITIL Foundation certification (preferred, but not mandatory).
