This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Surpass revenue quota targets on both a quarterly and annual basis
• Proactively respond to each customer’s and partner’s distinct inquiries by delivering accurate information and customized solutions that meet their specific needs and interests
• Formulate business plans that align with the designated territory
• Strategically interact with customers and business partners to uphold a high standard of customer service that reflects SailPoint’s core values
• Partner with marketing to design and implement marketing strategies with partners and end users
• Pursue all leads provided and ensure that internal systems are kept up to date
• Guide the necessary technical resources to showcase SailPoint's advantages to the customer
• Follow up with customers and collaborate with the post-sale team to guarantee consistent and ongoing account management, including new sales opportunities
• Manage and oversee all facets of the sales process, including qualification, presentations, demonstrations, RFP submissions, negotiations, and closing
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the territory, encompassing customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors
• Comprehend and convey all product and technological strategies utilized by competitive and complementary organizations within the SailPoint market
• Effectively initiate, navigate, and manage discussions at all levels of a customer’s organization, from business stakeholders to technical decision-makers
• Leverage all channel management and reporting tools, including accurate forecasting and Salesforce maintenance
• Proficient communicator during initial engagements and discovery calls, analyzing prospects' needs to evaluate an opportunity
• Highly skilled in understanding and articulating the value of SailPoint solutions and how they stack up against Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience right from the first discovery call and utilize skills to competitively position solutions
• Capable of leading a virtual team of partner resources, presales, partner managers, deal desk, professional services, BVA team, and customer success to achieve sales victories and customer satisfaction
• Able to take initiative as the quarterback; preparing the team on necessary actions before calls
• Competent in making decisions about who should engage and when, ensuring accountability for follow-through
• Develop a territory or opportunity plan outlining the steps necessary to advance from discovery to the next stages in the sales cycle
• Ability to collaborate closely with the leadership team to refine ideas and enhance the effectiveness of the sales strategy
