Software Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives to facilitate deal cycles across various industries and address critical business challenges.

• Spearhead the technical discovery and qualification process for initial opportunities, aiding in identifying prospects/customers’ existing issues and aligning with their business goals.

• Oversee the technical aspects of the sales cycle, which may involve participating in the design, delivery, and support of a technical proof of concept; crafting technical proposals; addressing RFPs/RFIs/Security Questionnaires/Technical Response Documents; attending sales meetings; leading workshops; and offering technical expertise to illustrate the One Identity products as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

• Work closely with Product Management to deliver consistent and actionable insights based on customer interactions.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing to assist in developing assets, knowledge base content, and conducting training sessions to enhance the technical product understanding of existing features for both customers and Account Executives.

• Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving SE organization.

• Assist in onboarding and enabling partners with One Identity solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Solution Engineering/PreSales.

• Proven experience in deploying, managing, and configuring SaaS, Hybrid, and On-Premise solutions within the IAM domain (e.g., Sailpoint, Saviynt, Cyberark, Okta, JumpCloud).

• A solid understanding of SaaS, Hybrid, and On-Premise deployment methodologies, with a strong emphasis on SaaS.

• Familiarity with core web technologies: Ruby on Rails, Angular, Python, PHP, HTML/CSS, REST, among others.

• Comprehensive understanding of the IT industry, competitive landscape, and essential technologies.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for safeguarding systems, networks, and digital identities.

• An understanding of core security concerns associated with typical applications.

• Familiarity with the Digital Identity space and a desire to expand knowledge.

• Experience with enterprise-level directory deployments and configurations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at delivering engaging presentations and product demonstrations to both external clients and internal teams.
