Software Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of software products to ensure compliance with business standards and functional requirements.

• Identify, reproduce, and monitor defects in the software.

• Validate the fixes for identified defects.

• Create test data and procedures to confirm that software aligns with organizational standards and user needs.

• Utilize knowledge of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.

• Make autonomous decisions regarding work practices while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.

• Report directly to the Director of Network Operations.

• Assist Humana in securing and transitioning into new business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of technical experience.

• Proven experience in developing test data and procedures to ensure software products meet organizational standards and user requirements.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.

• A Master's Degree is preferred.

• One year of experience with TRICARE contracts is preferred.

• Access to internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
