Software Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report to the Liferay Product Manager as part of the Product & Innovation team in the IT department.

• Assist in the technical development and execution of the proprietary GuideTree clinical platform.

• Collaborate closely with departments such as Business Intelligence, Research, Clinical Services, and Strategic Partnerships.

• Create and implement automated tests using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or comparable testing technologies.

• Develop and carry out manual testing plans for software development processes.

• Engage in design and technical specification reviews.

• Document testing strategies and outcomes, providing feedback and reporting issues to the development team.

• Aid product and development teams in triaging issues and bugs reported by users.

• Recognize and document edge cases and system constraints.

• Execute database queries and assist with the release cycle.

• Program in Java, JavaScript, or Python and/or configure Liferay as necessary.

• Work on special projects and custom development tasks as directed.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (mandatory).

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (highly preferred).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Information Technology (required).

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, supporting, or testing software within an agile environment (preferred).

• Over 1 year of experience with Java and SQL (preferred).

• At least 1 year of experience with Liferay DXP, version 7.4 (preferred).

• Familiarity with release planning or DevOps practices (preferred).

• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels and the ability to work with diverse project teams.

• Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple requests simultaneously.

• Skill in identifying test cases and edge cases, developing procedures to fulfill business requirements.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer support abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.

• High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining system quality.

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Ability to work from a secure, private home office with reliable high-speed internet.
