Software Quality Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the effects of introducing new features on the solutions you oversee and assist in their mitigation by performing automated regression tests on designated solutions according to set schedules, generating reports, and analyzing errors to recommend and/or request necessary corrections.

• Implement, maintain, and enhance the internal testing framework, integrating new solutions and tools to elevate product quality and outcomes.

• Possess knowledge of and contribute to the development of new automated test cases for features in progress by examining those features and their associated technical and functional documentation.

• Produce test cases by documenting manual test scenarios or scripting automated tests in accordance with established technical standards.

• Aid in adhering to the development workflow and ensure proper documentation of all modifications by validating change proposals and non-conformities, assessing the quality of documents produced at every stage and the tests developed, while creating, generating, and executing tests as necessary.

• Develop indicators and metrics to help pinpoint the primary defect sources within the product, ensuring enhanced optimization of regression testing.

• Create and maintain data generation scripts for use in both manual and automated testing.

• Generate management status reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of Cypress

• Proficient knowledge of TestComplete

• Over 8 years of experience in testing methodologies

• Experience in defining, reporting, and monitoring quality processes and metrics

• Background in planning, creating, and executing test cases; familiarity with defect tracking

• Understanding of Functional testing (Desktop and Mobile) and Usability testing

• Knowledge of automated testing, Performance testing, and API testing

• Experience in developing scripts and generating data for testing
