Software QA Automation Engineer – Full Stack Application Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and uphold comprehensive automated test case suites

• Evaluate new development stories and enhancements to applications

• Confirm resolutions for production issues and defects identified internally

• Conduct testing for modernization initiatives in legacy technology

• Assist in application migration efforts to the Azure Cloud

• Validate infrastructure modifications and deployments in the cloud

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, such as story grooming and requirement assessments

• Work alongside developers and business stakeholders to establish and confirm acceptance criteria

• Maintain application quality, performance, and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks

• Strong grasp of software quality assurance methodologies and industry best practices

• Experience in testing web-based applications and enterprise-level systems

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development approaches

• Capability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Experience in validating API, UI, integration, and regression testing scenarios

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

• Experience in testing Java-based applications

• Understanding of Azure Cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives

• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD processes

• Knowledge of modern application frameworks like Spring Boot and Angular

• Experience working with Oracle and NoSQL databases
