This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the project manager for various software development initiatives.
• Effectively convey the project delivery framework within the team and enforce project standards.
• Plan and organize project timelines and milestones utilizing project management software; continually maintain and update plans throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring the project team is informed of upcoming deadlines.
• Communicate project delivery expectations and progress to team members and the executive team in a clear and timely manner.
• Establish project success criteria and share them with all stakeholders during the project's lifecycle.
• Evaluate project status and provide regular reports to the executive leadership team.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to relevant team members.
• Manage risks associated with schedule changes and assist in identifying and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Recognize and manage project dependencies and the critical path.
• Collaborate with relevant internal parties to ensure that vendor or other internal teams’ dependent tasks are appropriately managed and completed on schedule.
• Develop and sustain project plans while ensuring effective financial forecasting and tracking.
• Collaborate with other technology and business organizations to agree on scope, acquire resources, and ensure readiness.
• Review and assess work to guarantee quality, timeliness, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not mandatory.
• Equivalent years of experience in enterprise project management or a related field may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management.
• 5-7 years of experience as a software project manager.
• 5-7 years of experience in a product line operating model.
• 5-7 years of experience in software and product development.
• Familiarity with multiple and complex scheduling work streams.
• Proficient in various development methodologies, such as Waterfall and Prince 2.
• Skilled in the Scrum and Kanban Agile Frameworks.
• Proficient in the use of Jira and Confluence.
