This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of closed-course autonomous vehicle system testing.
• Develop verification and validation (V&V) plans and construct a test matrix aligned with product specifications.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to figure out testing methods for various components of the autonomy stack.
• Plan and perform field testing to evaluate autonomy software on the vehicle.
• Carry out test cases in accordance with release milestones.
• Assist in the development of either the planning stack or the embedded safety microcontroller unit (MCU).
• Create documentation and backend tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Robotics.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in creating and executing test plans for both software and hardware systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in robotics, automotive, or autonomous vehicle environments.
• Proficient in debugging system behaviors using Linux, ROS, C++, and Python.
• Programming expertise in Python, C++, and bash.
• Willingness to travel to testing locations near San Antonio, Texas, and across the country.
