Software Engineering Technical Specialist – Workday Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and maintain integrations within Kyndryl’s comprehensive HR ecosystem, utilizing Workday as the primary system of record.

• Build and enhance integration solutions across various enterprise HR domains, including Workday HCM, payroll, benefits, identity and access management, and external HR platforms.

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of Workday integrations by utilizing platform-native frameworks and established enterprise integration patterns.

• Collaborate with fellow engineers, integration architects, and platform stakeholders to produce high-quality integration solutions that align with release timelines, business cycles (such as payroll and benefits events), and operational readiness criteria.

• Guide engineers, assist in the establishment of integration standards and best practices, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Workday integration framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, constructing, and supporting enterprise integrations, ideally with Workday as the primary system of record.

• Practical experience with Workday integration technologies (e.g., Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs).

• Comprehensive understanding of Hire-to-Retire business processes, including worker lifecycle events, payroll, benefits, and compensation data flows.

• Experience in integrating SaaS HR platforms with downstream systems such as payroll providers, benefits vendors, or identity/access management solutions.

• Capability to support production operations, including incident resolution and critical business cycles where data accuracy and timeliness are crucial.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills in a cross-functional, enterprise environment.
