Software Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Set an example by consistently writing, reviewing, and deploying production-quality code (approximately 30–50% of your time)

• Work in close partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to implement features that enhance business outcomes

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development for engineers through regular one-on-one meetings, career planning, and technical guidance

• Lead the team in adopting AI methodologies to boost overall development efficiency

• Take ownership of team execution and delivery by establishing priorities, eliminating obstacles, and ensuring projects remain on schedule

• Establish and promote engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD processes, system architecture, and code quality

• Engage in architecture evaluations and contribute to shaping the long-term technical roadmap

• Identify and recruit exceptional engineering talent and oversee their onboarding process

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of software development experience, demonstrating strong full-stack or backend development capabilities

• At least 4 years in an engineering leadership or team lead position, managing direct reports

• In-depth knowledge of Java, React, Node.js, Python, and similar technologies

• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, or containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proven experience in designing scalable systems and leveraging cloud infrastructure (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Experience in AI-driven development approaches

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to motivate and align both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in a startup or rapidly growing company is advantageous
