Software Engineering Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a formal leadership or management capacity.

• Capable of engaging in hands-on coding for up to 50% of the time.

• Demonstrated experience in managing engineering teams within a dynamic, rapidly growing environment.

• Strong technical expertise in contemporary web application development (experience with C#, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, AngularJS, Svelte, SQL Server, Redis, ElasticSearch, etc.).

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven track record of scaling teams, mentoring engineers, and successfully delivering intricate projects.

• Comfortable utilizing performance metrics to inform decisions regarding promotions, compensation, and career progression.

• Familiar with agile methodologies and current software development practices.

• Experience conducting structured performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.

• Proficient in identifying and addressing performance issues promptly, with empathy and fairness.

• Ability to acknowledge and reward high achievers while assisting underperformers through development plans.
