Software Engineering Intern, Summer 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in technical decision-making and create software solutions that meet quality standards across product-line portfolios and customer contracts.

• Design software and testing solutions to cater to both customer and product-line requirements.

• Effectively manage time, work independently, multitask, and coordinate tasks.

• Support operational plans and phased execution strategies to enhance workflows and scale production.

• Collaborate with teams located in various geographical regions, accommodating different time zones and cultural backgrounds.

• Create interactive prototypes and demonstrations for new ideas and capabilities.

• Develop an understanding of managing the relationship between cost and value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.

• Active enrollment is required until the completion of the internship/co-op session.

• A minimum of 60 credit hours must be completed by the start of the internship/co-op session.

• Relevant experience can be gained through on-the-job training, research, coursework, or projects.

• U.S. citizenship is necessary, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to the program/contract.

• Candidates must reside and work in one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.

• Familiarity with C/C++, Ada, HTML, Javascript, and/or Python is preferred.

• Experience in programming within Windows and Unix/Linux development environments is preferred.

• Background in software integration, testing, and debugging source code is preferred.

• Agile development experience is preferred.

• The ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (classified as a US Person) is preferred/required.
