
Software Engineer β Vulnerability Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Detect vulnerabilities through automated tools and manage them effectively.
β’ Partner with various teams to facilitate the resolution of vulnerabilities.
β’ Contribute to Stripeβs overarching security and risk management initiatives.
β’ Enhance Stripe's security stance, processes, and tools on an ongoing basis.
β’ Develop data- and agent-driven systems to identify vulnerabilities throughout Stripe.
β’ Coordinate solutions to avert exploits that could impact Stripe or its users.
β’ Provide guidance on security risks and promote practices that fortify Stripeβs systems and data.
β’ Choose effective scanning tools to reveal weaknesses.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience, not including internships and co-ops.
β’ Software engineering background within the security sector.
β’ Strong empathy, communication skills, and a commitment to collaboration.
β’ Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ High expectations for code quality and a positive, constructive mindset.
β’ Knowledge of automated vulnerability detection tools and triage (preferred).
β’ Experience in delivering projects that utilize agents to streamline human review processes (preferred).
β’ Ability to think innovatively and comprehensively about mitigating risk in a complex setting (preferred).
