This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Engage throughout the complete software development life cycle, encompassing requirements definition, prototyping, detailed design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with technical personnel, management, and business operations teams to provide solutions for complex business challenges within established timelines and budgets.
• Code, test, debug, document, and enhance software applications.
• Liaise with user management to discuss project status, direction, and user requirements.
• Oversee software testing through test reviews and analyses, test witnessing, and certification processes.
• Identify and rectify system operational issues to ensure business continuity.
• Contribute to the creation of high-level system architecture documents and detailed design specifications.
• Provide work estimates based on user requirements.
• Take part in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming/refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
• Adhere to secure coding standards and implement necessary security measures.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Verification of education or experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, security measures, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to research software-related issues and products.
• Willingness to learn, understand, and implement new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Highly self-motivated and driven.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Capability to communicate information, operate computers and IT equipment, read computer monitors/documents, and maintain prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
