Software Engineer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Architecture Leadership: Direct the design and advancement of the Audit Copilot platform, ensuring scalability, security, and traceability throughout the entire ecosystem.

• Cross-Team Impact: Collaborate across teams by recognizing dependencies, reducing technical risks, and guaranteeing smooth and efficient integrations with Data teams.

• Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain reliability standards (SLOs) and observability, transforming insights from incidents into systemic enhancements to minimize toil.

• Mentorship and Culture: Elevate Arvo’s technical standards by guiding engineers, advocating for thorough design reviews, and disseminating best practices (TDD, CI/CD, Clean Architecture).

• Strategic Partnership: Work alongside Product to clarify the technical scope of ambiguous initiatives, weighing trade-offs between delivery speed and technical debt.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

• Extensive experience in building distributed systems.

• Familiarity with architectural patterns and coding best practices, including SOLID, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Layered Architecture, etc.

• Proficient with a cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Experience with both relational (Postgres) and non-relational (Redis) databases.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools and agents (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, LLMs for automation) to enhance coding, testing, and documentation.

• Experience in developing data processing pipelines.

• Proficient in Go and Python development.

• Familiar with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as Kubernetes (basic resources, kubectl).

• Experience with GCP.
