Software Engineer, Security Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement platforms for the security platform engineering division.

• Provide technical guidance to teams while collaborating with management and stakeholders on strategic initiatives.

• Create new services utilizing Golang / Java.

• Develop scalable systems using contemporary cloud technologies and adhere to industry best practices.

• Oversee project priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

• Mentor and train team members on design methodologies and coding standards.

• Establish a long-term vision for the maintenance and scaling of backend systems and teams.

• Work closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership on quarterly planning initiatives.

• Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

• Enhance system deployment, ownership, operation, and diagnosis processes.

• Evaluate feature designs while ensuring security, safety, scalability, operational integrity, and architectural clarity.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Proven experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production-level services.

• Knowledgeable in composing a service-oriented architecture.

• Capable of writing high-quality, well-tested code.

• Strong technical skills in system design and coding.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Commitment to open and transparent cultural practices.

• Responsible use of generative AI while ensuring human oversight.
