Software Engineer – Secure Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and manage backend services that execute code checks within continuous integration, ensuring reliability and low latency.

• Expand the platform to accommodate new repositories, programming languages, and types of checks, all while maintaining straightforward integration.

• Construct and sustain data pipelines for reporting the results and dashboards that track coverage, volume, and resolution time.

• Design APIs and integration points for collaboration with other engineering teams.

• Enhance the developer experience by minimizing distractions, generating valuable messages, and expediting feedback loops.

• Develop tests, implement instrumentation, and manage the systems that are created.

• Facilitate AI-assisted code reviews by creating evaluation datasets and pipelines for measuring output quality.

• Work closely with Developer Platform, Service Framework, Site Reliability Engineering, and Information Security partner teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering.

• Experience with production code in at least one of the following: Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Proven experience in building and managing backend services or platforms utilized by other engineers.

• Familiarity with developer infrastructure, including continuous integration, build systems, or monorepos.

• Proficient in writing SQL, developing data pipelines, and designing dashboards.

• Strong testing and debugging skills; capable of measuring performance before optimization.

• Excellent written communication skills across different teams.

• Knowledge of security tools, static analysis, dependency scanning, web or mobile application security, AWS configuration concepts, and large language model output-quality measurement is advantageous, but not mandatory.
