This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Information System along with its integrations.
β’ Review application modules to ensure quality assurance and compliance with application architecture standards.
β’ Assess and evaluate vendor software solutions and packages.
β’ Lead a sub-functional team dedicated to application development or enhancement.
β’ Review application design specifications, code new applications, and enhance existing applications.
β’ Contribute to strategies for data structure and systems performance.
β’ Train and provide technical assistance to junior staff members.
β’ Meet Office of the Registrar standards regarding customer service, participation, communication, professional development, and testing.
β’ Design and implement testing plans and prepare systems test data.
β’ Prepare documentation for programs and training requirements.
β’ Develop, prepare, or modify technical specifications for complex projects, system integrations, and upgrades.
β’ Conduct systems analysis, interpret system requirements, and create detailed system design specifications.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Proven data management and analytical abilities.
β’ Capability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
β’ Proficiency in gathering and analyzing data effectively, alongside evaluating alternative solutions.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Dedication to continuous learning, professional development, industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Extensive experience in Oracle PeopleSoft application development.
β’ Expertise in PeopleTools technologies, including Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, and SQR.
β’ Preferred: experience with PeopleSoft Application Development or other ERP software that supports Campus Solutions.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with Informatica.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with RESTful APIs.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with Gideon Taylor eForms.
β’ Preferred: knowledge of University Registrar best practices related to student records, student services, and registration processes and systems.
β’ Associate's degree is preferred.
β’ Successful candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and maintain that eligibility.
