Software Engineer – Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, create, document, build, test, and implement customized Salesforce solutions, which include Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, and Salesforce Flows.

• Maintain and enhance third-party Salesforce integrations utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration methodologies.

• Oversee and execute release and deployment processes adhering to DevOps standards, using Git and CI/CD tools.

• Collaborate with IT, BI, and Business Systems Analysts to align on project goals, requirements, and system enhancements.

• Engage in design and code reviews to uphold development quality, bulkification, and platform governance standards.

• Provide support for daily platform operations, including bug detection, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the codebase architecture, API integrations, and deployment processes.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience as a Salesforce Developer, focusing on designing, developing, and deploying custom programmatic solutions.

• Proficient in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL queries, and Flow automation.

• Experience in designing, constructing, and troubleshooting custom REST/SOAP API integrations.

• Practical experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, version control (Git), and automation of deployment pipelines.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, security models (Profiles, Permission Sets, OWD), and data structures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Authorization to work in the US.

• Some travel may be required (10%).

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Required).

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (Preferred).

• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with healthcare data security, PHI/PII handling, and HIPAA regulatory requirements is preferred.
