This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Develop and deploy features.
• Take full ownership of features from conception to completion: grasp the problem, design an effective solution, implement it (often with the aid of AI), test it, and make refinements based on feedback.
• Enhance performance, reliability, release quality, and developer ergonomics across our native SDKs and associated services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across SDKs and customer integrations by utilizing logs, diagnostics, and sound hypotheses rather than guesswork.
• Address genuine customer challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to comprehend real customer use cases and constraints.
• Suggest straightforward, practical solutions rather than over-engineered ones.
• Assist in optimizing the integration experience, enabling partners to achieve “first story live” swiftly and securely.
• Improve the developer experience.
• Refine documentation, code examples, and integration guides, often drafting with AI assistance and then editing for clarity.
• Spot friction points for integrators and proactively advocate for enhancements.
• Implement small, ongoing developer experience improvements (tools, scripts, templates) instead of waiting for a large “clean-up project.”
• Maintain engineering excellence.
• Utilize AI tools by default for exploration, scaffolding, and refactoring – then validate outputs through tests, types, and personal judgment.
• Apply first-principles thinking to navigate complexity: begin with the goal and constraints, select the simplest effective solution, and be ready to remove your own code if a superior approach arises.
• Engage in constructive code reviews: provide clear, kind, and direct feedback while being receptive to having your own ideas scrutinized.
• Contribute to improving CI pipelines, test suites, and development scripts to enable the entire team to advance more rapidly and safely over time.
• Maintain strong ownership and follow-through from ideation to release: identify blockers early, communicate effectively, and complete what you initiate.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in developing production mobile applications or SDKs in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.
• Strong familiarity with at least one native mobile platform – either iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin – including its contemporary frameworks and build tools.
• Understanding of APIs/HTTP, mobile application lifecycles, performance, and automated testing.
• A proactive attitude – you anticipate challenges and suggest solutions rather than waiting for guidance.
• AI-native working style – comfortable with early adoption of new tools, particularly AI-assisted coding, viewing AI as the standard starting point rather than a last resort.
• Ability to articulate reasoning and trade-offs – you can clearly explain why you selected one approach over another in simple terms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Dependability – you fulfill commitments, identify blockers early, and take ownership of the quality of your work.
