This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Develop and deploy features.
• Take ownership of features from start to finish: comprehend the problem, design a straightforward solution, implement it (often with AI assistance), test it, and iterate based on feedback.
• Enhance performance, reliability, release quality, and developer experience across our native SDKs and accompanying services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across SDKs and customer integrations – utilizing logs, diagnostics, and sound hypotheses instead of guesswork.
• Address genuine customer challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to grasp authentic customer use cases and limitations.
• Suggest straightforward, practical solutions rather than over-complicating matters.
• Assist in optimizing the integration experience so partners can quickly and safely reach “first story live.”
• Elevate developer experience.
• Improve documentation, code samples, and integration guides, frequently using AI for drafting and then refining for clarity.
• Identify friction points for integrators and proactively advocate for enhancements.
• Implement small, ongoing developer experience improvements (tooling, scripts, templates) instead of waiting for a large “cleanup project.”
• Commit to engineering excellence.
• Default to using AI tools for exploration, scaffolding, and refactoring – then validate outputs with tests, types, and your own judgment.
• Employ first-principles thinking to navigate complexity: begin with the goal and constraints, select the simplest effective solution, and be willing to remove your own code when a better method emerges.
• Engage in constructive code reviews: provide clear, kind, direct feedback and remain open to having your own ideas scrutinized.
• Contribute to enhancing CI pipelines, test suites, and development scripts to accelerate and ensure safety for the entire team over time.
• Maintain strong ownership and follow-through from concept to release: identify blockers early, communicate effectively, and complete what you initiate.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in building production mobile applications or SDKs in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one native mobile platform – either iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin – including its contemporary frameworks and build tools.
• Familiarity with APIs/HTTP, mobile app lifecycles, performance, and automated testing.
• A proactive attitude – you anticipate challenges, look ahead, and suggest solutions instead of waiting for instructions.
• An AI-native working style – you are adept at adopting new tools early, particularly AI-assisted coding, viewing AI as the standard starting point rather than a last resort.
• Clear reasoning and trade-off analysis – you can articulate your choices between approaches in simple terms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Dependability – you honor commitments, flag blockers promptly, and take ownership of your work's quality.
• 33 Days Paid Leave
