Software Engineer – Mid-Senior, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain data curation and ingestion services for the Threat Intelligence team.

• Obtain consensus and implement forward-thinking architectural solutions, which encompass distributed computing pipelines, micro-services, contracts, databases, and data flows.

• Engage actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback, sharing expertise while ensuring the technical requirements and documentation are of high quality.

• Develop new services necessary for delivering quality data feeds.

• Maintain your code in alignment with the team’s coding standards and quality benchmarks, adopting a results-oriented mindset while delivering maintainable, readable, testable, secure, DRY, SOLID, and KISS code (following the Pareto principle).

• Always think expansively, bring forth and discuss innovative ideas related to the product and the cybersecurity domain.

• Offer technical leadership and expertise.

• Strong knowledge and proficiency in the Python programming language, including an understanding of core concepts, syntax, and data structures.

• Experience in designing microservice architectures and communication protocols.

• Familiarity with data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL.

• Exceptional ability to write maintainable code.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues and devise practical solutions.

• A commitment to rapid and continuous learning, with a knack for identifying and resolving problems promptly.

• Meticulous attention to detail, possessing a structured approach with a research-first-then-implement methodology.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
