This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
β’ Collaborate with the Platform team, comprising programmers who work closely with the hardware.
β’ Stay updated with and incorporate the latest advancements in the Linux Kernel.
β’ Enhance and create new kernel features related to functionality.
β’ Assess new CPUs and partner with vendors to integrate their stacks into EOS.
β’ Oversee the bring-up and qualification of components for hardware products.
β’ Manage projects from initial definition to deployment and customer engagement.
β’ Ensure the quality of all deliverables.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in C or C++ and Python.
β’ Practical experience with Linux Kernel software is an advantage.
β’ Knowledge of IP networking and/or distributed systems is a plus.
β’ Applied understanding of software engineering principles.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and software troubleshooting abilities.
β’ Capability to design solutions and implement them effectively.
