Software Engineer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop new features and functionalities

• Design the product architecture

• Perform technical analysis and research for innovative initiatives

• Conduct code reviews

• Assist the development team by sharing knowledge and expertise

• Enhance or replace tools for managing and monitoring the real estate tax payment process

• Utilize a diverse array of Java technologies with significant autonomy over architecture, technology choices, and upgrades

• Engage in pair programming for 60–90% of the time

• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensure very high levels of automated test coverage

• Work with highly complex systems in production environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in written and spoken English at a B2+ level

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in Java programming

• Strong analytical capabilities

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and message queues

• Familiarity with CI/CD, SOLID, DDD, and OOP concepts

• High level of proactivity

• Understanding of serverless and event-driven architectures

• Experience with React or Kotlin
