This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of features from start to finish, encompassing technical design through to delivery, while deconstructing intricate UI and interaction flows into actionable components.
• Write efficient, clean, and well-tested code using TypeScript and React Native.
• Engage in architectural discussions regarding component patterns, state management, navigation, and performance enhancement.
• Enhance app performance, code quality, accessibility, and overall developer experience.
• Mentor Software Engineers I and II through code reviews, collaborative sessions, and design feedback.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to ensure alignment between product objectives and implementation.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, manage incident responses, conduct root cause analyses, and implement systemic improvements.
• Maintain documentation of technical decisions, component patterns, and architecture.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with significant expertise in React or React Native.
• Proven track record of delivering intricate features within a software team to achieve business objectives.
• Experience in translating ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans.
• Familiarity with large-scale, high-traffic applications that serve millions of concurrent users.
• Advanced skills in TypeScript and production-level type-safe coding.
• Strong background in React Native, covering component lifecycle, hooks, performance optimization, and native module integration.
• Knowledge of Expo and its related ecosystem.
• Experience with state management solutions and complex navigation strategies.
• Proficient in unit and component testing using Jest; familiarity with Maestro or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Expo/EAS workflows, app store releases, and over-the-air updates.
• Knowledge of mobile performance profiling, memory management, and platform-specific differences.
• Capable of working independently, providing and receiving direct technical feedback, communicating effectively in writing, and balancing technical tasks with collaborative planning.
• Must possess authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship for employment visas is not available.
