Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and execution of intricate features, utilizing coding agents to enhance multi-file and cross-service modifications when suitable.

• Make architectural choices that prioritize scalability and maintainability.

• Guide junior and mid-level engineers in effective prompting, context management, and thorough evaluation of AI-generated code.

• Establish and communicate team best practices for the utilization of agentic tools and validation of their outputs.

• Shape sprint planning and technical direction, including estimating timelines for AI-assisted development.

• Lead in troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis, particularly for issues stemming from AI-generated code.

• Advocate for team best practices and assess new AI-assisted development tools and methodologies.

• Oversee front-end architecture decisions encompassing component structure, state management, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Collaborate with UX/design teams to convert designs into efficient, maintainable user interfaces.

• Promote front-end engineering standards focused on accessibility, performance, and testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive knowledge of C#, .NET, Angular, and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and APIs.

• Demonstrated success in using AI coding agents for complex, real-world modifications.

• Strong understanding of the limitations and appropriate applications of AI coding agents.

• Proven capability in technical leadership and mentoring.

• Proficient in coaching others in agent-assisted development.

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and a contemporary front-end framework (Angular, React, or Vue).
