This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in technical design discussions to identify and document effective technical solutions.
• Create microservices utilizing AWS serverless architecture.
• Serve as a trusted advisor with a consultative approach when collaborating with stakeholders.
• Foster and sustain team culture through collaboration, open communication, and transparent feedback.
• Promote continuous enhancements in system efficiency and adaptability while ensuring customer trust, performance, and availability.
• Offer technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Maintain support for legacy code while developing future-state systems and solutions.
• Work alongside developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile development setting.
• Contribute to solutions that tackle complex business issues and improve operational workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4-8 years of hands-on development experience with modern programming languages, including NodeJS and Python.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing REST and event-based services using AWS tools such as Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.
• Experience in implementing and supporting SaaS/cloud software solutions and integrations with internal systems.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, IAM, and STS.
• Knowledge of both non-relational and various relational database platforms, including RDS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development context.
• Experience in developing and deploying APIs (required).
• Experience in building infrastructure using CloudFormation Templates (CFTs).
• Strong creative and analytical problem-solving skills focused on translating complex business challenges into viable technical solutions.
• Preferred: experience in lending or financial services sectors.
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Certification.
• Preferred: experience with SCRUM, SAFe, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
• Preferred: experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management regarding requirements, software features, technical designs, and product strategies.
• Competitive base salary range of $96,300-$154,400.
• Annual incentive compensation eligibility up to 10% annually.
