Software Engineer II – IntelliScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software and technical solutions to address business challenges.

• Create and sustain modern front-end applications, BFF APIs, and service integrations.

• Assist in the overhaul of monolithic legacy products in AWS.

• Advocate for AWS best practices.

• Guide team members on software engineering best practices.

• Concentrate on overall product quality.

• Develop and uphold unit and integration tests.

• Manage workload autonomously based on project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Aid the team in reaching sprint objectives through both independent efforts and collaboration.

• Engage in code reviews.

• Facilitate code deployments.

• Create and modernize product solutions for prescription, health, and medical record ordering products.

• Contribute across the entire software stack, including front-end applications, BFF APIs, service integrations, AWS infrastructure, and DevOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering.

• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience in developing or supporting backend services and BFF APIs using C# (.NET 8) and SQL.

• Experience in cloud development with AWS.

• Knowledge of DevOps best practices utilizing GitHub and Terraform.

• Familiarity with Agile practices, including Scrum.

• Comprehensive experience with the full software development lifecycle.

• Exceptional technical design, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.

• Experience with domain-driven design.

• Knowledge of microservice architecture.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture.

• Experience in writing testable code, unit tests, and integration tests.

• Passion for developing high-quality systems while adhering to AWS best practices.

• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret and implement business and functional requirements.

• Understanding the importance of test automation and a desire to integrate it into development practices.

• Strong knowledge of digital health data; experience with EHR systems, FHIR/HL7 interoperability, or data integration is highly preferred.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.
