Software Engineer II – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the AMS frontend, developing and delivering React and TypeScript features from design to production.

• Create sophisticated, data-driven components such as interactive grids, forms, dashboards, and widgets that efficiently manage large datasets utilizing AG Grid.

• Implement and oversee form-building capabilities using SurveyJS.

• Manage application state through React Context or Zustand.

• Connect frontend components with RESTful APIs and TanStack Query.

• Collaborate with the backend team to ensure data flows are both efficient and reliable.

• Work alongside design and backend engineers to provide intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences.

• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies with the AMS team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional frontend engineering experience with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.

• Demonstrated experience in creating complex, data-driven UI components, including grids, forms, and dashboards for production applications.

• Experience in integrating RESTful APIs within frontend applications.

• Strong understanding of asynchronous data-fetching methodologies.

• Familiarity with modern build tools such as RsPack and pnpm.

• Experience deploying in CI/CD environments.

• Capability to work efficiently across significant timezone differences, maintaining regular collaboration with the Australia-based team.

• US citizenship is required.

• Willingness to obtain security clearance in the future.

• Knowledge of visualization libraries like Chart.js is advantageous.

• Experience in performance-oriented applications in sports tech, health, or military/tactical domains is a plus.

• Background in DevOps, testing, or backend development is beneficial.

• Java experience or collaboration with backend Java teams is an advantage.
