Software Engineer II – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement impactful microservices projects while ensuring security, high availability, and resilience for our clients;

• Convert functional and business requirements into effective microservices architectures and secure technical designs;

• Support the team by promoting development best practices, design patterns, testing, and code reviews, including establishing team processes and practices;

• Foster and uphold a culture of technical documentation, making platform solutions easily adoptable by other teams;

• Collaborate in a dynamic and analytical environment utilizing practices like code reviews, pair programming, and data-driven development;

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development;

• Strong foundational knowledge in computer science: data structures, algorithmic complexity, and design patterns;

• Familiarity with or eagerness to work with Golang and Kotlin;

• Proficient understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/datastore systems (MongoDB, Redis, etc.);

• Experience in developing APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures;

• Quality-focused mindset with practical experience in writing automated tests (unit and integration tests);

• Basic understanding of CI/CD practices;

• Utilization of AI to enhance work processes and a proactive approach to staying current;
