Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services and integrations that link Spreetail's platform with the largest sales channels globally.

• Influence architecture, tackle complex challenges, and maintain high-throughput services as we grow.

• Provide backend services and data functionalities that align with performance objectives and support the team’s roadmap.

• Take accountability for your code from design to production, ensuring it remains reliable and maintainable.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to transform requirements into reliable features.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of backend development experience: Proficient in Python; familiarity with FastAPI or similar frameworks.

• Modern Data Stack: Experience with DBT, Snowflake, S3, or AWS Glue, with the ability to modify and optimize data transformations.

• Distributed Systems: Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, particularly in scalable production environments.

• Performance Tuning: Skill in optimizing services and queries for enhanced speed and reliability.

• API Development: Proven experience in building efficient APIs capable of handling large datasets.
