Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the creation, execution, and upkeep of information systems (IS) and technologies aimed at managing and analyzing research and clinical trial data.

• Play a key role in shaping the strategic vision, direction, and operations of the Research Network by designing and implementing software solutions.

• Collaborate closely with researchers in the design, testing, and deployment of systems and infrastructure that support research and software development methodologies.

• Offer timely insights and recommendations to leadership to effectively utilize technologies in upcoming initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer, DevOps, or in a role with similar primary responsibilities.

• At least 2 years of experience in software versioning and release management.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in server management.

• At least 2 years of coding experience in Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, and similar programming languages.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in a Healthcare environment.

• Preferred: 1 year of IT Project Management experience.
