Software Engineer – II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a diverse team comprising data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to collect materials and comprehend user requirements.

• Develop and uphold scalable and dependable data pipelines that facilitate the team's enrichment workflows.

• Integrate enriched data from core platforms into larger data systems, applying necessary transformations while ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Participate in code reviews, maintaining a high standard for quality and adhering to organizational engineering standards.

• Adhere to development processes, including coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring, to ensure both quality and efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with team members and appropriately escalate issues when challenges arise.

• Contribute to the understanding and execution of tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy, scalability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and enrichment processes, with a proven history of working with large datasets, including ingestion, transformation, and optimization.

• Proficient in Spark, Python, and SQL for constructing scalable data processing pipelines.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.

• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch.

• Strong knowledge of AWS, encompassing services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, and RDS for data infrastructure.

• Experience with AWS EMR and Databricks for optimizing large-scale data workflows.
