Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in technical discussions.

• Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to grasp the product roadmap and aid in feature development.

• Take part in software development activities, including the implementation, testing, and deployment of code under the guidance of senior team members.

• Assist in product refinement sessions.

• Provide high-quality, scalable software that fulfills customer and business requirements.

• Develop maintainable solutions by adhering to sound design practices and engineering standards.

• Build, monitor, maintain, and deploy software effectively.

• Manage changes from design through to development, automated testing, and production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Familiarity with React and/or React Native frameworks.

• Basic understanding of the Node.js ecosystem.

• Practical experience in building mobile applications, preferably for iOS or Android, using the TypeScript/React Native stack.

• Fundamental knowledge of mobile app development from concept to publishing.

• Exposure to Firebase and push notifications.

• Acquainted with basic SQL queries.

• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git and GitHub.

• Foundational understanding of data structures and software design principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
