Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in preparing for elections by managing voter files and addressing any pipeline errors associated with early voting data.

• Oversee complete ETL pipelines from start to finish.

• Create pipelines to aggregate diverse data sources.

• Analyze logic to comprehend data processing.

• Enhance system reliability to handle increased election-related workloads.

• Utilize Apache Airflow and the GCP ecosystem for data pipeline management.

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and data product users to ensure exceptional user experiences.

• Implement automation to optimize efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

• Continuously upgrade technology accessible to Democratic campaigns throughout elections.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support the department and the DNC’s objectives.

• Proficient in relevant technologies, particularly Python and SQL.

• 2–5 years of professional experience.

• Capability to work full-time in an exempt role.

• Availability to work on weekends may be necessary.
