This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Create adaptable and sustainable solutions by adhering to guidelines, requirements, and standard practices.

• Assess, modify, enhance, and sustain existing systems by resolving issues, addressing security vulnerabilities, and optimizing system performance.

• Engage in planning and user story analysis by offering insights and demonstrating a clear understanding of user needs.

• Aid in resolving business challenges by executing technical solutions grounded in solid design principles and industry best practices.

• Actively engage in and adhere to software development protocols and procedures.

• Record software modifications, best practices, and established standards.

• Stay informed about current and upcoming changes in tools, technology, programming best practices, and industry standards through training and professional development.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent technical trade school and relevant work experience is required.

• Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional technical setting.

• Preferred: 1 year of professional experience in software design and development.

• Required: Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling).

• Experience with integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources) is advantageous.

• Preferred: General knowledge of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git source control.

• Preferred: General understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally Agile/Lean methodologies.

• Expected: Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Classic ASP, VB Script, Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, MSMQ, and NServiceBus; not all are mandatory.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, or other version control systems.

• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
