This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
β’ Create adaptable and sustainable solutions by adhering to guidelines, requirements, and standard practices.
β’ Address development challenges through effective design and practical knowledge.
β’ Assess, modify, enhance, and sustain existing systems by resolving issues, addressing security vulnerabilities, and optimizing system performance.
β’ Engage in planning and user story analysis by offering insights and demonstrating a clear understanding of user needs.
β’ Aid in resolving business challenges by executing technical solutions grounded in solid design principles and industry best practices.
β’ Actively engage in and adhere to software development protocols and procedures.
β’ Record software modifications, best practices, and established standards.
β’ Stay informed about current and upcoming changes in tools, technology, programming best practices, and industry standards through training and professional development.
β’ Perform additional tasks as assigned.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent technical trade school and relevant work experience is required.
β’ Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional technical setting.
β’ Preferred: 1 year of professional experience in software design and development.
β’ Required: Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling).
β’ Experience with integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources) is advantageous.
β’ Preferred: General knowledge of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git source control.
β’ Preferred: General understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally Agile/Lean methodologies.
β’ Expected: Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Classic ASP, VB Script, Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, MSMQ, and NServiceBus; not all are mandatory.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, or other version control systems.
β’ Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
β’ Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
