• Develop and enhance backend services that facilitate secure and dependable cross-chain message execution across various blockchain ecosystems.

• Elevate protocol reliability for EVM chains by crafting resilient systems where security is a primary focus.

• Minimize cross-chain transaction latency through enhancements to RPC utilization and protocol performance.

• Create internal tools that allow for quicker diagnosis and resolution of production issues during incident management.

• Engage in protocol security efforts that bolster the resilience of CCIP in adversarial scenarios.

• Take part in technical design discussions aimed at refining the architecture and ensuring the long-term scalability of the protocol.

• Proven backend engineering experience with Go, Rust, or TypeScript.

• Background in delivering software within crypto projects or remote-first engineering teams.

• Established capability to design distributed systems with a focus on security and reliability as core engineering principles.

• Experience in building or maintaining backend systems functioning in production, emphasizing resiliency and operational excellence.

• Proven track record of collaboration in engineering design discussions and contributing to technical decision-making processes.

• Demonstrated understanding of DeFi protocols and the wider decentralized application ecosystem.

• Experience in deploying or managing services utilizing cloud infrastructure and tools, such as containerized workloads and public cloud platforms.

• Practical experience with blockchain bridges or interoperability protocols.

• Knowledge of bridge-specific security risks and common attack vectors.

• Familiarity with non-EVM ecosystems like Solana, Aptos, Canton, or comparable blockchain platforms.
