Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold high-quality full-stack software solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Create new features and enhance existing functionalities for both the front end (using Next.js or React) and back end (utilizing .NET / C#, NestJS GraphQL).

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define and execute product requirements.

• Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members.

• Write and manage automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS and Amazon EKS through CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify and address bugs and issues promptly.

• Incorporate AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar into your daily workflow.

• Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for code, APIs, and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in software development.

• Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework like Next.js or React.

• Experience in back-end development using .NET / C# and/or NestJS GraphQL.

• Knowledge of GraphQL integration layers and API development, or a willingness to learn.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerized deployments (Amazon EKS / Kubernetes), or a strong desire to learn.

• Understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing.

• Experience with AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

• Solid understanding of software development principles and practices.

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities; capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
