Software Engineer – HCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create full-stack features, overseeing the process from analysis to production.

• Develop backend services utilizing C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, and REST.

• Design frontend applications employing Angular, React, or Vue.js with TypeScript.

• Architect and manage databases using SQL Server, with potential exposure to CosmosDB or DynamoDB.

• Construct and sustain microservices along with reliable APIs.

• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in Azure or AWS environments.

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.

• Implement automated testing, TDD/BDD methodologies, security measures, and quality assurance controls.

• Leverage observability tools such as DataDog, Application Insights, or Amazon CloudWatch.

• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools throughout the design, development, testing, and debugging phases.

• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge exchange, and participate in technical and architectural discussions.

• Guide junior engineers and play a key role in successful Agile delivery.

• Take responsibility for small to medium-sized features throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Design, and other engineers to refine user stories and deliver software for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proven experience in delivering software within Agile frameworks.

• Strong backend development expertise in .NET/C#.

• Familiarity with SQL Server.

• Understanding of scalable web applications and cloud-based deployments.

• Experience or foundational knowledge in CI/CD, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, and clean architecture/SOLID principles.

• Frontend experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js, or sufficient frontend knowledge suitable for backend specialists.

• Capability to manage routine tasks independently while seeking guidance on more complex features.

• Ability to provide technical assistance or mentor junior team members.

• Experience in regulated or intricate domains, event-driven architectures, GraphQL, real-time technologies, NoSQL databases, or contemporary UI architecture patterns is beneficial but not mandatory.
