This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack applications, backend services, internal tools, and integrations utilizing Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, and TypeScript.
• Create software that leverages and integrates advanced AI model functionalities throughout complete workflows.
• Incorporate model APIs into production-ready applications, which include tool interfaces, evaluation frameworks, monitoring systems, and telemetry.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs while also contributing to cutting-edge front-end applications.
• Investigate and resolve model, application, and integration issues, documenting failure modes and technical insights.
• Transform engineering observations into actionable feedback for research and engineering teams.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and deliver functional increments in response to evolving requirements and limited initial specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering managers and developers to enhance code quality, architecture, testing practices, and technical documentation.
• Navigate across unfamiliar systems and codebases, identifying dependencies and implementing effective solutions.
• 3+ years of professional experience in building and deploying production software in a high-quality engineering environment.
• Strong production experience in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++, along with working proficiency in a second programming language.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with backend services and APIs, using React or another modern front-end framework, relational or document databases, and cloud deployment and infrastructure.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software from end to end.
• Ability to quickly comprehend unfamiliar codebases, development environments, and technical architectures.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in rapidly changing technical landscapes.
• Demonstrated professional growth and escalating technical responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex technical decisions clearly.
