Software Engineer, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Contribute to one or several of our innovative product initiatives.

• Foster a collaborative relationship with our product and design teams to create an exceptional user experience, implementing solutions in a modular and scalable way.

• Design and develop product features that are aesthetically pleasing and build customer trust through reliability and consistency.

• Engage at all levels of the technology stack, utilizing AWS, Python, and Postgres, along with React, HTML, and CSS, to construct and sustain end-to-end features.

• Participate in regular design discussions.

• Create tools aimed at automating processes and enhancing team productivity.

• Promote best practices among fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on modern full-stack web development.

• Proficient in one or more backend and frontend technologies, with a keen interest in JavaScript, React, and Python.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and database design using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures.

• A robust sense of ownership with an emphasis on long-term usability and extensibility.

• Experience with AWS is a plus.

• Competence in React and Python is an added bonus.

• Possess a startup mentality: a team player who is self-driven, high-integrity, pragmatic, resourceful, and able to perform under pressure.
