Software Engineer – Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement features from start to finish utilizing a TypeScript/React frontend and TypeScript/Python backend.

• Take ownership of and enhance integrations and backend services, including LoanPro, HubSpot, and internal APIs.

• Serve as the accountable owner for at least one integration or backend service.

• Introduce tests, monitoring, and instrumentation to enhance reliability and identify issues before they affect customers.

• Investigate and resolve production issues while minimizing recurring errors.

• Engage in code reviews, design discussions, and project planning.

• Communicate proactively within a Slack-first team environment.

• Utilize AI coding tools and automation to boost efficiency and minimize repetitive manual tasks.

• Deliver a first production change within the first week.

• Independently launch features from start to finish within 90 days.

• Develop measurable, reliable, well-tested, well-monitored, and low-noise systems.

• Integrate AI into the engineering workflow and identify technology-driven improvements for efficiency.

• Report directly to the Head of Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience in delivering production software.

• Strong full-stack capabilities with a focus on backend development.

• Practical experience with TypeScript/React and Python.

• Proven track record of owning services, APIs, or integrations from start to finish.

• Disciplined approach to testing, monitoring, and ensuring reliability.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities and processes may shift.

• Self-motivated, accountable, and proactive in your work.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Willingness to undergo a background check if an offer is made.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace for remote work is essential.

• Experience in early-stage startups is a significant advantage.

• Practical experience with building LLMs or AI tools is a strong plus.

• At least 1 year of experience working remotely or in a distributed team is preferred.
