Software Engineer – Entry to Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new features for Funnel’s software products by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Ensure software reliability and quality through the creation of unit tests and end-to-end tests.

• Identify and resolve bugs while enhancing software performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding tools, to boost productivity and optimize workflows.

• Engage in code reviews and participate in design discussions.

• Commit to continuous learning and the adoption of new technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality software.

• Travel requirements are less than 5%.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Between 0-2 years of software engineering experience, including relevant internships or practical projects.

• Professional experience with Python (Django) for backend development and JavaScript (React) for frontend development.

• A solid understanding of web technologies such as REST APIs, HTTP, HTML, and CSS.

• Familiarity with contemporary software development practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and code reviews.

• Proficient in using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.

• Demonstrated strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• A desire to learn and develop in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment.
